presented two volumes of his memoir "Guerrilla Man of Time," which related his experience from childhood to the end of December 1958, previous to the triumph of the Cuban revolution, the official media reported Saturday.

The books, with about 1,000 pages, were the result of Castro's conversation with Cuban journalist Katiuska Blanco, who wrote two other books on Castro "All the Time of Cedars" and "Angel."

The official daily Granma reported the "historic revolutionary leader," 86, stressed he needs to seize the time, because with the aging, his memory runs out and he wants to do his best to do something useful for the next generations.

Asked about his opinion about politics, Castro said, "I prefer old watches, old boots and old glasses, but in politics I prefer everything new."

Castro started in 1956 a guerrilla revolutionary movement, which finally ousted the administration of Fulgencio Batista on Jan. 1, 1959.

During his 48-year governance of the island country, he defied U.S. economic sanctions and survived hundreds of attempts against his life.

In 2006, he handed over power to his younger brother Raul Castro, who is the current Cuban president, due to a critical intestinal surgery.

In 2010, he presented autobiography books on his guerrilla life in the Sierra Maestra mountains: "The Strategic Victory" and "The Strategic Counteroffensive," covering the last six months of the war against Batista.
<img width='1' height='1' In all, the military will have 100,000 fewer boots on the ground.

To achieve that goal, the Army plans to remove at least eight Brigade Combat Teams from its existing structure, the Pentagon said in a document outlining the budget preview. Even with these reductions, the Army and Marine Corps will be larger than they were in 2001.

Lawrence Korb, a former assistant defense secretary who is now a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, a Washington-based think tank, said the United States is cutting ground forces because the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are ending.

But not only the number of ground forces is being cut, other parts of the defense sector are affected as well. The Navy will retire seven aging cruisers early, and several new ships will be delayed. The Air Force will also retire six tactical fighters out of its 60-strong squadron.

But the strongest equipment at the disposal of the Navy and Air Force will remain operational. The United States will continue to keep 11 aircraft carriers, its current bomber fleet, big-deck amphibious fleet, as well as funding for a new generation bomber and for increasing the cruise missile capacity in future Virginia-class submarines and designing a conventional prompt-strike option from submarines.

These weapons are also important for the U.S. presence in the Asia Pacific and the Middle East, where the United States is putting an emphasis on its new strategic guidance released earlier this month.

In remarks to reporters, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. James A. Winnefeld Jr. stressed "the capability, the flexibility, the independent capability of a carrier from basing, the applicability of that ship in an anti-access environment and its particularly useful role in the Middle East and the Pacific, which is where we have emphasized most of the regional strategic focus."

Winnefeld said there is going to be a "gradual shift in the Navy's force structure from east to west" for aircraft carriers, submarines, logistics ships and others in the Pacific. Size and fragmentation of tropical forests in various islands in the archipelago Indonesian government made it difficult to maintain and care for the presence of oxygen-producing forests mainstay of this world. The ability of our budget is weak, socioeconomic population around the forest that still depend on forests, oppression of people use forests only for the short term, natural disasters, forest fires and so complicate government efforts to preserve forests in Indonesia.

Coming months in July, August, September and November to late-summer season, we usually have a routine ritual to criticism of our neighbors and even the world, the forest fires. The smoke and pollution spread to neighboring countries we menbuat Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, the Indonesian government considered incompetent in protecting our forests. Their complaints on our smoke ekport they do not want conveyed in various world forums to embarrass the Indonesian nation.

So far they (the countries of our neighbors) do not realize that we also export fresh air in the form of oxygen (O2) is needed bodies of our neighboring residents. For this they were silent, without any sense of gratitude and saying they helped bersukur enjoy without paying and without the slightest thought that Indonesia's forests are maintained and dilestasikan with this poor state budget to keep the oxygen needed to produce the population of this earth.

The most menyedikan countries that have spent the woods ahead and produce emissions massively as konsekuansi industrial countries criticize us, too. Without any sense of shame and guilt in the past and their present embarrass us share abroad. It is true we are not incapable of maintaining the forest. But whether the lungs of the world is only the responsibility of the Indonesian people who are poor? While the rich countries and indulgence in the production of emissions on a large scale as a result of their industrial calm?

Indonesia in the UN list to be included in the list of countries that are not responsible for controlling emissions and global warming, as if in vain our efforts in Bali to inspire the world to pay attention to our forests. While the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) defines governance as "the exercise of political, economic, and administrative authority to manage a nation's affairs at all levels". Mardiasmo in the public sector accounting book defines the notion of governance can be interpreted as a way of managing public affairs. (Mardiasmo, Year: 2002, pp: 17)

From the definition of the World Bank put more emphasis on how to manage government resources for social and economic development interests of society, whereas the UNDP is more emphasis on political aspects, economic, and state management admninistratif. If the program refers to the World Bank and UNDP, the orientation of public sector development is to create good governance. Understanding Good Governance is often defined as good governance.

World Bank defines good governance as a management development penyelenggarakan solid and responsible in accordance with prinsif democracy and efficient markets, avoidance of investment allocation, and the prevention of corruption both politically and administratively, to run budget discipline and the creation of legal and political framework for the growth business activities. Participation is built on the basis of freedom of association and to speak and participate constructively.
b) Rule of law, legal kerangak implemented fairly and indiscriminately.
c) Transparency, transparency is built on the basis of freedom of information. Information relating to the public interest can be obtained directly by those in need. By developing information technology so that information known to the public should be accessible by the public.
d) Responsiveness, public institutions must be quick and responsive in serving stakeholders.
e) Consensus orientation, in determining government policy oriented toward the interests of the larger society.
f) Equity, every society has equal opportunity to obtain welfare and kedilan.
g) Efficiency and Effectiveness, the management of public resources efficiently done (efficiently) and was effective (effective).
h) Accountability, accountability to the public for any activity undertaken.
i) Strategic vision, governance and community organizers should have a vision far ahead.

Unfortunately efforts to achieve governance is good government clashed with the reforms carried out kebijakanyang occurs mainly in a few years recently.

Efforts to honesty in the use of public funds / state officials used the state budget is channeled through the mechanism originally done transparently appears the plan will be overwritten by the State Secret dikeluarnya bill that actually has a conflict with the spirit of good governance arrangements are.

Efforts to close the information to the public on various issues related to policies of the State officials eventually ran away from good governance to good governance.

The spirit of reform which had been order to establish a better government to be anti-water mark during the current administration into the spirit to move away from the business arrangement that good government.

As happened recently a number of press figures incorporated in the Community Press Indonesia reject ratification of the Draft Law on State Secrets of votes can remove many important achievements in the Law on Freedom of Public Information (KIP).

The figures tell the press that his attitude to the 2004-2009 DPR Commission I and the House of Representatives of the Press Council Vice Chairman Leo Batubara, Margiono PWI Chairman, Chairman of AJI Nezar Patria, Chairman IJTI Imam Wahyudi, Executive Director of SPS Asmono Center Wikan , Chairman of the Forum Observer Public Information Fleet and Chief of Vienna Press and Broadcasting Society Kukuh Sanyoto Indonesia.

The journalist was assumed that if the bill remained the Secret State imposed in September passed in October 2009 without actually watching the harmonization with the principles of democracy and good governance, the Act will only trigger a national controversy that is not conducive to the image of the president and parliament.

Government and Parliament today would be labeled to give a bad legacy to the Indonesian people if this bill will continue in effect and discussed again in the new parliament today in which parties control the government coalition majority seats in Parliament.

Of a suspension by the discussion of the bill is for the members of Parliament 2004 -2009 and then obviously it was planned, because the composition of a clear voice in the House will reject the Bill. As stated by Chairman of Commission I Theo Sambuaga House 2004 - 2009 in a meeting that will guarantee there will be no provisions in restraint of freedom of the press that the bill will pass the Secret State.
Unfortunately, the government is now smart, because the plan would be rolling again in the House bill with the new legislators 2009 - 2014 today that is expected to launch too act is a very large bill.

Another point to be noted that the public silencing efforts of the important information that would be a bad image in the international world, that Indonesia will be treated the same as countries such as North Korea or who are State Kambojo military regime.

The Indonesian government will also be considered a state secret bill passed the State that is not in accordance with international standards of "right to know and state secrecy". Current conflict between the spirit of good government to governance in the spirit to uphold the rule will eventually happen if the government's sincerity is not there.

Are the people's right to obtain information as part of human rights would easily break the State Secrets bill only to cover up bad had happened?

Is Forum G-20 Will Be the World Economic Council of the Fair?

G-20 summit to be done in Pittsburgh, the United States on 24-25 September 2009. Forum agreed this G-20 will serve as a major global economic forum replaces the role of G-8. Forum whose members are from countries that represent two-thirds of the earth and 85% of GNP of the world.

Countries that joined the forum, namely: 1. Argentina, 2. Australia, 3. Brazil, 4. England, 5. Canada, 6. China, 7. France, 8. Germany, 9.India, 10. Indonesia, 11. Italy, 12.Japan, 13.Mexico, 14.Russia, 15.Saudi Arabia, 16.South Africa, 17.South Korea, 18.Turkey, 19.United States, and 20. EU.

Previous forums only G-8 member countries have developed economies, such as England, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States.

Changes in the G-20 Forum bring more enthusiasm to make the G-20 as an effort to strengthen economic cooperation between the developed and developing countries. There is also the option to serve as a forum defenitif.

The main mission of this group will make saving the global economy by making countries have economic power, the balance of the global economy, financial reform and banking system, and meningkankan quality of life of the poor world.

Yes a spirit and a perfect dream for reform of global economic order, but whether its implementation would be as sincere as that? In fact in 2009 the Pittsburgh Summit is the world's human rights NGOs to gather and make opposition to what would be agreed within the forum.

Thousands of demonstrators who gathered in Pittsburgh rally at about 3 km from the location of G-20 summit. Demonstrators did yells so loud and anarchists. Forcing police fired rubber bullets, pepper spray, and smoke to these protesters. Even as many police arrested 17 demonstrators. Why did it happen so?

Often a lot of forums held in the world is too driven by the developed countries, particularly countries or strong economic superpower. Also we know too often that developing countries often become victims only in determining the results of the agreement.

Exploration can be a wealth of developing countries by developed countries, developed countries invest only in strategic commodities, the emphasis on developed countries to remove subsidies in developing countries, tightening of the export products of developing countries to developed countries, developing countries
accused as production of damaging the environment and so on.

Facts indeed show protection in the developed products, and the imposition of import openness tap into developing countries. Indonesia's often our suffering like this.

But the fact is that some developed countries attempted to bring the mission of the trap of capitalism in the developing world economic system is not fair, as the opinions expressed in forums such G-20. As suggested British Prime Minister Gorden Brown who expressed a desire to institutionalize Forum G-20 as the governing board of the world economy.

Gorden Brown forget the outside G-20 still required by other state representatives. This proposal could be done if the will has become Forum G-50 or even G-100 which can adopt more countries involved in the compilation of the world economic system. Especially countries in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the ASEAN countries that have not been much involved. Thankful we at least Indonesian participate in this forum, which is a member of ASEAN.

Things that lead to global capitalism as well as what was presented by French President Nicolas Sarkozy that calls for imposed sanctions to other countries that provide tax-free until next year. This proposal would obviously incriminate countries third world is still growing, and want more tax incentives for investment in the country mendonkrak. As if the spirit to give prosperity to developing countries actually even deadly in the third world investment and the investment returns that have been developed kenegara has very good infrastructure.

Also Obama himself has called to remove the oil subsidies are often committed in developing countries like Indonesia. From the government side of Obama's proposal is indeed beneficial, but most of the people of developing countries like Indonesia it will trigger even other social vulnerabilities. For the people of Indonesia fuel price hike issue is the sensitive issue.

This paper is not to oppose the G-20 summit because it is the condition of the world economic globalization requires a more equitable arrangement and wise. However we need a forum for institutions and even organize and reform the current economic system is still not balanced. It's look like voices from developing countries such as Indonesia, Argentina or Mexico must be a lot more, because so few representatives from developing countries in the G-20 Forum is.

Fight Devide et Impera for Strong Nation!

By Heri Hidayat Makmun

Colonial countries of Asia and Africa have a different history, but it has a distinctive look for the same. Viewing countries of Asia and Africa have a different history, but it has a distinctive look for the same. What that? That is't about Devide et Impere, Some sentence that the most widely used when we say about history of Dutch colonization, but actually all colonizing nations use this method. Devide et Impere, a phrase that most often we konotasikan with Dutch colonialism, but in fact all nations, colonizers used this way. The same way with the Dutch colonizers of our archipelago.

The conquest of the invaders have been known in Southeast Asia since before the presence of Western nations, but of conquest undertaken by the West in the region considered as an important period because it has a huge impact and even lead to extraordinary changes we are witnessing the impact still to this day.

Underdevelopment which include poverty, ignorance and division in the earth's son, and it is still easy to find until now. While the colonial legacy of the past are still there, colonization with a new appearance, and still with the old player is in progress.

They claimed western nations have a superior race of Asian and African races, came from the region so far to build and so rooted with strong power for so long despite repeatedly got rocked by the indigenous resistance.

Those who come from far away that legalized murder, slavery, humiliation among humans for humans maintain power in colonial countries. They are people who feel honored that behave like apes who are not familiar with courtesy and humanity. But they feel swordsman human rights. Hughhh! Hughhh!

The days of the West colonized people moaning in Southeast Asia practically coincided with Western colonialism in the continent we know as a native American Indian origin, as well as an Australian Aboriginal tribe originally was. The two nations are now going extinct due to oppression, which occurred the 16th century.

Meanwhile, North Africa, West Asia and Central Asia has experienced since before Christ. Their suffering is far more painful than we, the Indonesian people. Until
split, poverty and even now that are characteristic of the occupation is still there. Until the 21st century.

16th century was an important period in human history you! After about 1000 years of dark age, the West has a large revival process commonly known as the Renaissance (Rebirth) as a result of Eastern influences since about 5000 BC through the heyday of the practical achievements of human achievement without end until the early 19th century.

Crusades (1095-1291) who carried the West into East territory that stretched from Iberia to western Mesopotamia increasing interest to know the East. When the East or the tantalizing promise to appear almost in every way.

West resurrection among others in the field of technology (after learning from the East) pushed them out of the world looking for "another world" for the conquered. Portuguese victory in 1267 and Spain against the Arab Muslims in 1492 was intoxicating them. Self-confidence as a superior man got up.

Thus overseas colonialism in the Renaissance is also on the agenda. The motto of Western imperialism is a gold (for wealth), gospel (spread the influence of the values espoused West) and glory (for the honor).

The project's first conquest of the West-in this case is the Portuguese-Malacca Sultanate (1400-1511), which is probably the most prosperous country in Southeast Asia at that time. It is said that the kingdom was established by a prince of Majapahit, after embracing Islam he changed his name by Megat Iskandar Shah. When he arrived in the region he considered that he was in strategic locations particularly in economic terms.

Malacca Strait is the strait that since the beginning of AD has become a busy route between the West with the Eastern world. He allied with local residents and build facilities for the dock. Sure enough, within a relatively short time many foreign vessels visiting or resident, Malacca who came from a fishing village into an international port.

Malacca's fame also reached the ears of the Portuguese. When the Portuguese has had some of conquered territory from the African coast as far as Goa in India. Vasco de Gama, a great admiral sworn in as viceroy to India. He sent a messenger to Malacca and well received by Sultan Ahmad (1488-1511), Portuguese received permission to trade as well as other nations.

Portuguese envoys arrived when Malacca was allegedly abused a split between the Sultan on the one hand with the treasurer and his son, a dangerous thing to remember everywhere is fun imperialist divisions. If there are no divisions follow newly-invented it. Et impera Devide always be their final stance of the colonialists, even the way it is still in use today.Remember you until now! Jadi camkanlah! So keep in mind!

People know the nature of Portuguese Malacca because they have come from countries that have taken such Hurmuz Portuguese in the Persian Gulf, the Gulf Suquthrah 'Adan and Zanzibar off the east coast of Africa. They affect the sultan for against the Portuguese, the sultan affected and in a surprise attack killed several members of the envoy and the rest escaped.

These events may be judged as the beginning of a dark era for Southeast Asia. After the Portuguese presence, droves of Western nations came to other Southeast Asia reached the colonies. Later when the Pacific War began, the British entrenched in Burma (now Myanmar), Brunei, Malaya (now Malaysia) and Singapore; Netherlands entrenched in Indonesia; Portuguese entrenched in East Timor (now Timor Leste); French in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia; and United States (U.S.) entrenched in the Philippines. In Indonesia during the Dutch colonization in the archipelago, which for so long known as the Oost-Indische Nederlands (Dutch East Indies).

Our national resurrection can not be separated from the international atmosphere. Early 20th century the Eastern world rose up against the Western superiority. Japan, for example, swiftly carry out modernization known as the Meiji Restoration, so avoid the western colonization.

In the early 20th century, the result can be felt, about 90 percent of Japanese citizens literate. Japan also the surprising world with his victory against Russia in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905). War is regarded as the first major conflict of the 20th century, Japan has proved that the West can be defeated.

Achievement demolish the myth of Western superiority again won Japan in the Pacific War.Only 8 months to win Japanese Western colonies but it will take about 3.5 years for the West to defeat the Japanese after fierce fighting.

China is still sinking nation dalm conflicts in the country. Revolution against the Manchu Dynasty (1644-1912) plunged the Chinese in a prolonged civil war mixed Chinese-Japanese War II (1937-1945).Revolution divides China into two hostile countries namely the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the People's Republic of China. The war against the colonialists was heavy, but the war against the disintegration of the country far more weight! Cause far more misery. The split was a conspiracy from the UK and Japan to break the dragon country. Until now konlik China - Taiwan was still in care by the United States as part of a long-term conspiracy.

Luckily for the country this dragon called, really wake up from sleep length and rise of this 21st century. Tackle economic and colonialist policies proved the east as a strength, not a play machiavelis hit here and there.

Sipahi Rebellion (1857-1858) or the Revolution suppressed Indian English can immediately put India in control of the British government, no longer Companynya East India company. Colonial regime immediately sent the zending and harder missie for Western influence to enter India. Beryukurlah us because there is Mahatma Gandhi in India.

The Indian elite responded by forming the colonial grip of All Indian National Congress (1885) that eventually became known to the Congress Party. A group of Muslim representatives in the organization and then come out and formed the Muslim League.

Among the future independence of the most prominent appearance of three men Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The split between the Gandhi-Nehru on one side with Jinnah on the other hand reinforces the old distinction between the Hindus by Muslims, resulting in India divided into India and Pakistan. Again, the split is characteristic of the occupation.

Back backwards now brother, I am proud of the fact that Century is the Century 21 Rise of Asia and Africa, out of the grip of occupation, completion of the domestic political crisis and end up as a dignified nation.

At present in 2009 when we have been able to see the world in a state of independence. Although there was colonization of the Palestinians, Iraq and Afghanistan. Hopefully these nations were given the power and out also from the colonial grip.

Let brothers and sisters we learned our history that we are not one sided. Too shallow our science can lead to colonization gripping too long. Split-burst we become weak. Fight with a friend over and no time for us belejar be great.

Great nation is a nation of strong, powerful nation is a nation of learning and knowledge. But people who study the nation who have the time and not be bothered with the political crisis, divisions of island, ethnicity, and ideology.

So can we take the conclusion that a great nation is a nation united and tolerant nation with pomp unfurled.Instead they put forward such as Alligator and Cicak, such as the Commission and the Police, because that is corrupt applauded.

Can we take the conclusion that the nation's relatives who committed remove earth occupation is a unified nation. Without it we dream brothers! Lawan devide et impera!!! Opponent devide et impera!
